Three Mistakes to Avoid During Your Medical Entrance Examination

Pursuing a career in medicine is a dream for many, but only a handful can actualize that dream. In Kolkatabest science coaching is available where young minds undergo rigorous training and prepare themselves for the tough evaluation. But the path to becoming a doctor is rather treacherous and laden with many an obstacle. This is why students are prone to trip and fall even after working hard for months. Long hours of training and learning to manage time and so and so forth- all the activities are rendered null and void if you make a couple of rookie mistakes.

Let us look at three mistakes that you should avoid if you want to crack your medical entrance exam in one go!

  • Reading too many reference books as study material-Some students are deluded by the idea that the more quantity they mug up, the better is their chance at succeeding. This is a completely false stream of thought which isn’t beneficial to say the least. Different books have different methodological approaches. So if a person reads too many of them at once he or she can end up in a hotch-potch. The concerned text book published by NCERT should be focussed on and perhaps aided by one or two other books.
  • Not developing personal strategies-Medical entrance classes in Kolkata are of very high quality. But no matter how much they prepare you for the final round you can’t come out with flying colours unless you customize your personal strategy in accordance with your strengths and weaknesses. Before anything else you ought to be honest to yourself and realize which parts are lacking in clear understanding and which parts you should be left out if necessary.
  • Obsessing over the tricky areas-It may so happen that you will get a couple of questions that are tricky or make a few mistakes on your answer sheet. But during the time of the examination you simply can’t afford to waste time on that. Remain calm and complete the question papers before the time gets over.
