• Expertise:- CA needs to have much more quantitative ability as compared to the qualitative skills. On the other side, CS requires one to have much more qualitative approach to his or her career. • Hiring Priority:- It is being seen that the Chartered Accountants are mostly hired by the consulting and the auditing firms with global repute but the Company Secretaries are hired by the reputed public enterprises and the government organizations. This does not mean that the CAs and the CSs are not hired by the other corporate sectors. The above are just what is noticed. 
• Salary Differences:- If any company required someone in its finance department, usually the company prefers the Chartered Accountants over the Company Secretaries as the CAs have much wider scope of knowledge as well expertise as compared to the CSs. There are significant differences in the salary structures for a CA and a CS. A CA earns almost double of what is earned by a CS in today’s market.
