As an awareness source, the growth of commerce education is currently on the verge of expansion which ultimately provides creativity and skill proficiency as a crucial preconditioning of economic property. Started in 1986, the origin of commerce occurred when the first commercial school was established in the province of Madras.

Since then there were several commercial colleges which were started by the Government of India in multiple provinces of Kolkata and Calicut. Since then there several colleges which were developed for the imparting the Commerce Courses. When in the year 1913 Sydenham College of economics and commerce, the courses started to fresh wings on their own.

Training and Various Needs:-
For meeting the needs of the local cadres in industry and business and also in the government sector, in the early part of the 19th century, commerce training and education programs were formally started through vocational courses. These courses were raised to the postgraduate and undergraduate stage, after its formal introduction. For those who wanted to take commerce course after 12, the courses were opened for the colleges and universities in the form of B.com and M.com. During the period of 1920 - 40, there were numerous institutions which were established. While the Institute for the Chartered Accountants was established in 1934, the Indian Institute of Bankers was established in 1926. As courses of commerce were established in India at the University of College during this time, the Federation of insurance institutions was established in 1955.

Though in India it is more of theoretical education rather than practical aspect, commerce education was defined as a practical training. With lack of standardization and uniformity in content, of course, lack of coordination between professionalism between professional bodies and universities and insufficient method of teaching, there are several drawbacks which can be shown. There is an expectation that a commerce teacher is a jack of all trades. Commerce education was linked to accounting and clerical personnel, in the early days. However, with the changing dynamism, the coaching classes are catering the needs to several other branches of commerce and providing a dynamic scope for people to shine with commerce subjects.

Why You Need Mock Tests To Crack Your B.Com. Exams

Acing in the Commerce stream is the gateway to lay your hands on the real economic system. Maintaining accounts of both public exchequers and corporations is a daunting challenge that few dare to undertake.

B.Com exams are not only an assessment of your intelligence- but also your hard work and perseverance. But once you manage to crack it, the outcome brings in successes galore. So, it is undoubtedly something worth putting in some extra work for.

The primary task is to find a B.Com. tuition centre that arranges mock tests for students on a regular basis. Mock tests are an intrinsic part of preparing well for exams. Here are 3 merits of attending mock tests.

1. Getting used to the examination environment- A lot of students buckle under pressure even if they have prepared well for exams. This is because:
  • They are not used to the mental stress.
  • They exceed the stipulated time limit.
  • They lose track of points to be made in the answer.
During the mock tests students can grow accustomed to stress of being in a monitored environment where they have to write to-the-point answers within a stipulated period of time.

2. Shift focus towards important subject matters- It is not possible for students to retain 100% of the information that they have acquired during their course. During mock tests they can grow familiar with the patterns of questions that are yet to come. They can identify the topics that are more important and even learn the important areas from the chapters that they had left out earlier. This will result in:
  • Better retention.
  • Compact answers.
  • Better time management.
3. Assessing own performance- A lot of students have a tendency to leave things out for the last minute and in the end they have no idea about how they performed in the finals. Mock tests can forcefully change that habit and ensure they have a clear idea about how they are going to be assessed. This will further help them in:
  • Devising the best strategy for optimum performance
  • Forming adequate ideas about what to expect in the end.
Best Commerce Coaching provides this kind of training and will ensure great academic as well as professional excellence.
